Blue Creek Bay Recreation Area Tree Planting
The BLM Coeur d'Alene Field Office will be hosting a tree planting event at Blue Creek Bay Recreation Area with Coeur d'Alene and Lake City High School Natural Science class students and teachers. Participants are asked to wear sturdy shoes, long pants and sleeve, and work gloves. Bring a lunch, plenty of drinking water, and inclement weather gear for a long day of hiking, swing a long-handle tool, planting larch and ponderosa saplings on steep uneven ground for the day. Plan to meet and end the day at the Yellowstone Trailhead off Yellowstone Trail Road. Planting activities will begin at 09:30.

No registration is needed. Be prepared to fill out and sign a BLM volunteer agreement at the beginning of the day.
