This year, local partners, the USFS and BLM invite volunteers to pitch in to improve the CCC Ponds for everyone.  Volunteers are needed for a variety of chores, most notable, the clearing of brush along trails. Other tasks include repairing bluebird homes, improving access to footbridges, stabilizing shoreline fishing access, painting and staining, and minor facility repairs.

The NPLD event is expected to last until 2 PM.  Please stay as long as you are able and remember proper work attire such as gloves, hat, long pants, sturdy shoes and safety glasses should be worn. Gloves and safety glasses will be available.  Sunscreen and insect repellant are highly recommended. Water and snacks will be available as well as “Fee Free” passes, and other giveaway items.
