Volunteer registration will be at the BLM booth at Point Arena City Hall. Volunteers are welcome to show up any time between 8:00am and 11:00am. Volunteers are not required to volunteer for the whole 3 hours. This volunteer event will be taking place during the Point Arena-Stornetta Celebrate the Coast event. The event will have tons of educational booths, talks, displays, guided walks, and activities, all of which will be focused on the cultural and natural resources found within Point Arena-Stornetta. 

During the volunteer project, volunteers will get the opportunity to learn about the biodiversity, native species, and invasive species threats of Point Arena, as well as get their hands dirty and make an important impact to protect the landscape. Volunteers will get to choose their work project: removing invasive ice plants, removing and piling invasive pines, or watering native violet seedlings.
