National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest, single - day volunteer effort for public lands and works to connect people to public lands in their community. Join Clinch River State Park in a beautification project that will involve the installation of split rail fencing on the Sugar Hill Unit in St. Paul. By doing this we hope to inspire environmental stewardship, and encourage use of public lands for education, recreation, and general health. Meeting location for this program will be at the UVA Wise Oxbow Center in St. Paul, VA Please wear close toed shoes. Park will provide snacks and drinks for the event. We hope to see you there!
