Join staff at Colonial National Historical Park to care for and restore historic earthworks at Yorktown Battlefield! This event will take place from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 26th, and will consist of landscaping activities like weeding, filling holes, and using hand tools to remove saplings and vegetation, among other potential tasks. Volunteers will meet at the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center (1000 Colonial National Historical Parkway, Yorktown, VA 23690), and should expect to participate in moderate physical activity outdoors. This event is not suitable for volunteers under the age of 18.
