Join us for The Reset 2026 with a family-friendly day outside in LA!

We're excited to unplug and hit the trail with you this Saturday, September 26th. Outward Bound is committed to helping young people live healthier, more connected lives outside and with balanced digital habits. This hike is a chance for our SoCal community to enjoy some fresh air and time together.

Please plan to arrive by 10:30am, when we'll kick off with some light programming. We're thrilled to share that Anya Meksin, Deputy Director of Schools Beyond Screens, will join us to say a few words. Schools Beyond Screens helped pass the landmark screen time limits recently adopted in LAUSD schools, and the organization is now turning its attention to AI use in classrooms.

After that, stay as long as you like! We'll also have a few giveaways to share around 1:00 pm, so stick around if you can.

Trail options - There's something for everyone. We'll provide some trail maps on the day.

A roughly 2-mile hike into Baldwin Hills

A longer 8-mile route through Baldwin Hills into Kenneth Hahn

Or skip the trail entirely and enjoy the playground and picnic areas with us

What to bring:

Water bottles

Comfortable shoes

Sun protection (hats, sunscreen)

Snacks, if needed (we'll have some on hand too!)
