The Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, along with our partners; Friends of Forsythe, Alliance for a Living Ocean, Long Beach Township and the Holgate Taxpayers Association, invite you to join us on September 19, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:30 p.m. at the Holgate Wilderness Area on the southern end of South Long Beach Blvd. on Long Beach Island. Buckets, trash bags and trash grabbers will be provided (as supplies last) or feel free to bring your own.  Vehicles will assist with the hauling of collected trash items from the beach back to the parking area. A parking lot is available with a restroom located in the parking area. Refreshments will also be provided. 

Registration is strongly encouraged but not required. Come enjoy the beauty of the refuge while making it cleaner and safer for all!
