Join park staff and subject matter experts from around the community as we tag monarch butterflies for MonarchWatch.org. Monarch tagging is important for scientists to track the migration across the continent and monitor populations. This come-and-go event will be in the 
park’s North Unit prairie off of Smokey Hollow Road. Learn more about the prairies and other important pollinators.

We recommend volunteers wear weather appropriate clothing, as well as long pants, hiking boots, and sun protection. It is also recommended to bring sunscreen, bug repellent, and adequate drinking water.
