Tidy the Trails: Join a ranger to remove litter from Mountain Creek Trail, a 3.25-mile hike, or Carl's Cove Trail, a 1-mile hike. Meet at the picnic shelter below the dam. Choose the 8:30–11:00 a.m. Mountain Creek Trail cleanup or the 1:30–2:45 p.m. Carl's Cove Trail cleanup. Register at least one day ahead at the Park Office or 706-663-4858. Each hike requires at least two participants; admission is free and a $10 parking fee applies. Bring water and comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Water will be provided. All ages are welcome; young children should be supervised.
