Pre-registered volunteers will assist the National Park Service in removing litter and debris from the Fort Caroline National Memorial shoreline on the St. Johns River. 

Due to the sensitive nature of the shoreline, this is a limited participation event.

 Volunteers must pre-register and receive a registration confirmation email from park staff to participate. Volunteers that are not confirmed for service will be turned away, due to limited capacity. 

Timeline of event:

8:50-9:00 AM || Volunteers will meet staff at the entrance to Fort Caroline National Memorial 

9:00-9:10 AM || Volunteers will gather with staff for our safety briefing, goals of volunteer services, and orientation to the site at our Visitor Center.

9:20 AM || Volunteers will walk with staff to shoreline access points and receive Personal Professional Equipment(PPE) and clean-up supplies before collecting litter with NPS staff. 

10:40 AM || Volunteers will begin to collect supplies and PPE to return to the Visitor Center. 

10:50 AM || Volunteers can provide feedback and reflection of their service. 

11:00 AM || Event closeout and departure from Fort Caroline National Memorial.
