We have been working on this project since Earth Day in April of this year. Starting from Parking Lot #9 at the north end of Fern Dell, we have been cleaning the stream beds going down the canyon. We are currently working in the Dell section from the corner of Fern Dell Drive and Red Oak.  Meet us at the corner of Fern Dell Drive and Red Oak for registration and orientation. We are removing debris, twings, branches, and unwanted plants from the stream beds and adjacent areas to allow the stream to flow down to the bottom of the canyon. We will supply the hand tools, materials, work gloves, water and cups, but if you have your own work gloves and/or water containers, you should bring them with you.  You should wear long pants, a hat, closed-toed shoes or boots, sunscreen. If you have sensitive skin, you should wear a long-sleeve shirt. It does get dusty, we we also recommend wearing a musk if dust bothers you.
