Your State Parks Day
The Beach Trail right now has an erosion problem on the first part up to where the bridge is over the creek. We widened it a few years ago, but it has since been eroded further and is in need of widening again. This would be done with shovels and hoes. Another project would be having a group walk the Brantley trail and clear any brush that is encroaching on the trail (overhead limbs, vines, etc.) with loppers along with picking up trash. Building benches for CCC Camp, Camp Rutledge duties would be- brush cutting, hardware repairs, facility deep clean, maybe screen replacements and painting, replace the roof at the kayak rack in the beach area, need a bucket truck to limb trees, garden maintenance.
