Battle the Bushes- Autumn Olive removal at Headlands Beach State Park
Join us to remove the invasive Autumn Olive at Headlands Beach. This effort will help restore the native landscape for a new Eagle Scout nature trail. Meet at the Headlands Beach Playground near the middle of the parking area.

This hands-on conservation effort will restore balance to our local ecosystem.  Volunteers will be required to wear gloves and eye protection for safety.  Boots, Long sleeves, pants and insect repellent are recommended, and can reduce potential exposure to poison ivy and ticks.  Please bring a water bottle and snacks. There is a restroom nearby and also a picnic shelter.
