Event details

National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is the nation’s largest single-day volunteer event for public lands, held each year on the fourth Saturday in September. NPLD is a day of service as well as an opportunity to give back, build community, and enjoy the public lands that support our health, environment, and well-being.

We're proud to bring that spirit of service to Hermann Park Conservancy, where volunteers like you help keep one of Houston's most beloved green spaces vibrant and welcoming for everyone. Whether you're planting trees, restoring native gardens, or sprucing up trails and gathering spaces, your time and energy make a real, lasting difference. Join us this National Public Lands Day — roll up your sleeves, meet fellow park lovers, and leave knowing you helped shape a healthier, more beautiful Hermann Park for all to enjoy.
