J. Percy Priest Island Clean Up
J. Percy Priest Lake is hosting its National Public Lands Day event 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at Anderson Road Day Use Area. We will be partnering with several organizations and clubs from the Nashville area. Once volunteers are registered, we will break into groups and take a short pontoon ride to Bear, Raccoon, Pig, Hole-in-the-Wall, and several other islands to help remove trash. All ages are welcome, but this may be slightly vigorous.

J. Percy Priest Lake is hosting its National Public Lands Day event 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at Anderson Road Day Use Area. We will be partnering with several organizations and clubs from the Nashville area. Once volunteers are registered, we will break into groups and take a short pontoon ride to Bear, Raccoon, Pig, Hole-in-the-Wall, and several other islands to help remove trash. Volunteers can bring their own kayak or boat. The Corps will provide pontoons in partnership with Sunlife Marinas at Elm Hill and Four Corner Marina. Life jackets are also available. Park Rangers are going to pick up full garbage bags at each island around 12pm. Lunch will be available at Anderson Road Day Use pavilion.
