Spend a little bit of time on this National Public Lands Day getting to know the diversity of trees around John James Audubon State Park! Our naturalist will lead you on an accessible guided walk around the park's wooded edges on Saturday, Sept. 27th at 2 P.M., to help you identify the many tree species found in the area. Using a few simple methods, you’ll soon be on your way to becoming a tree ID expert! Free to participate. Meets on the boulevard, behind the CCC statue. Ample parking is available on the boulevard. This hike will be weather dependent, so please watch social media for walk announcements.
