Join us on Saturday, September 27 for a National Public Lands Day Trail Tune-Up Project in Joshua Tree National Park!
Celebrate NPLD by giving back to the trails that give us so much. Volunteers will team up with our trails staff to clear debris, make light repairs, and improve trail conditions for the fall season.

Project will begin at 8 am and end at approximately 12 pm. Volunteers must provide their own transportation to and from work sites. Training and supervision will be provided, and the work involves hiking, light lifting, and repeated bending. We’ll be working on a scenic trail section with moderate elevation gain, best suited for those comfortable with light physical activity.

Volunteer registration will open in August on Volunteer.gov. Search for the event listing by name or by park.
Participation is limited. Volunteers must register in advance and will receive a confirmation email with location and project details.

Help us care for our trails and protect public lands for generations to come. We can’t wait to see you out there!
