The NPLD Lake Cumberland Cleanup is an annual event hosted for the purpose of removing man-made waste from the shoreline of Lake Cumberland. This event promotes environmental stewardship and provides a unique volunteer opportunity within the Lake Cumberland region. Volunteers include school groups, proactive members of the community, and advocates of environmental stewardship. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers partners with Eastern Kentucky PRIDE, local marinas, and waste disposal companies to help ensure a successful and efficient event.
