Come celebrate National Public Lands Day at Lake Manatee State Park!  We will be trimming trails and planting Longleaf pine saplings.

Please email ava.ridley@floridadep.gov to register and receive details. 

Tools will be provided.  Come prepared with sun protection, bug spray, a refillable water bottle, closed toed shoes, and anything else you may need to work outside.  Bathrooms and a shaded pavilion will be available nearby the work site. 

Youth under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event.  Park admission is free for all participating volunteers. After the program, volunteers are welcome to enjoy the rest of the day exploring Lake Manatee State Park.

Check-in begins at 8:45 AM for any volunteers who are not currently registered with Florida State Parks. A Short-Term Volunteer Agreement will be available on-site for those who are not pre-registered. Project work will begin at 9:00 AM.
