Community Shoreline Cleanup-Lake Renwick-Turtle Lake Access
Each quarter, Volunteer Services hosts community cleanups at Forest Preserves with the greatest need.   This location was chosen due to the increase in wildlife becoming entangled in improperly disposed of fishing line.  The District has monofilament recycling containers at 10 different preserves around Will County.

Because we are cleaning up the shorelines, please wear waterproof boots or shoes you don't mind getting muddy.  Long pants are also recommended due to taller vegetation.  Participants should be at least 5 years old, and registration is required.   Complete this online form for each person who would like to make our waterways safer for wildlife.

Two more sites will also have cleanups on 8/27. You can use the same form to sign up for any of them.
