Little River Canyon National Preserve will be hosting a Jr. Angler Fishing Day at Canyon Mouth Park. At this event, children and adults alike will learn the basics of fishing, including fishing equipment, baiting, casting, and reeling in catches. Attendees will also get hands-on practice and instruction along the calm water at Canyon Mouth Park. All fishing supplies will be provided for the day, and we will have activities for all ages, including arts and crafts and practice activities for those who do not want to fish near the river. This event will also be an excellent opportunity to participate in ranger-led programs and complete the booklet requirements for the Jr. Ranger Angler badge.
