The Steelbender Jeep Safari trail carries a rating of 6 out of 10 and is in two beautiful portions of Mill Creek Canyon.  The toughest challenge on Steelbender is a ledge known locally as Dragontail.  Although there is no way around this ledge, people continually try to forge new routes and create unsightly cross country tracks.  The Moab Motorized Trail Committee will use October 3's NPLD to join forces with the BLM to work on Dragontail itself and to close off the cross country travel around the area.
