National Public Lands Day 2026 at Mount Rainier National Park
Mount Rainier National Park is hosting a trail project on National Public Lands Day! Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Historic Longmire Gas Station. After a welcome and safety briefing at 8:30, you will be on your way! Volunteers should come prepared for any kind of weather, with warm clothing, rain gear, sturdy footwear, and gloves. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and hats are also recommended. Volunteers should also bring water, snacks, and a lunch.
