Mount Rainier National Park is hosting volunteer opportunities on National Public Lands Day! Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Historic Longmire Gas Station. After a brief welcome, participants will divide into work groups. Volunteers should come prepared for any kind of weather, with warm clothing, rain gear, sturdy footwear, and gloves. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and hats are also recommended. Volunteers should also bring water, snacks, and a lunch.
