Join Lee County Parks & Recreation for a volunteer workday at one of four different events held around Lee County! 

Location: Lakes Park (7330 Gladiolus Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33908) Project includes invasive and non-native vegetation removal; registration open for up to 15 participants. 

Location: Moody River Preserve (848 Moody Road, North Fort Myers, FL 33903) Project includes fence removal, and invasive and non-native vegetation removal; registration open for up to 20 participants.

Location: Oak Hammock Preserve (2200 Carter Lane, Alva, FL 33920) Project includes invasive and non-native vegetation removal; registration open for up to 20 participants. 

Location: Wild Turkey Strand Preserve (11901 Rod and Gun Club Road, Fort Myers, FL 33913) Project includes public use area beautification; registration open for up to 20 participants.  

Wear & Pack: volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring work gloves. Bring a water bottle and sun protection. Volunteers participating in vegetation clearing projects should bring loppers or a hand saw (no motorized equipment). Volunteers participating in fence projects should also bring a hammer or fencing tools.
