Volunteers from the Public Works Department and Junior Enlisted Association will construct six (6) 4'x8'x7' raised garden beds on top of recycled pallets at the Naval Support Activity Mid-South Nature Trail on Thursday, September 25, from 0700-1530 CST.  Weed blocker will be installed and topsoil will be poured in each raised garden bed. A Native Southeast Wildflower Seed Mix will then be planted in each bed, and volunteers will also contribute to building two concrete benches and a solar bird/pollinator fountain.
