The BLM/RFO will be hosting a disc golf pop-up event at a newly acquired recreation area near the Pecos River. The event will be geared towards recreating/disc golfing individuals who wish to pursue another potential disc golf course location near Roswell, NM. There are ideas to create a disc golf course in that area but the course would have to be professionally designed to meet BLM standards. This event is to outreach to the public to get their ideas, comments and concerns. Several mobile disc golf baskets will be placed in certain locations for members of the public to enjoy playing the sport.
