Join Friends of Panthertown and MountainTrue for a day of hands-on conservation work in the beautiful Panthertown Valley! We'll be clearing out check dams along the Panthertown Valley Trail—these small structures help prevent sediment from entering nearby creeks, protecting the headwaters of the Tuckasegee River.

This is a great opportunity to make a difference, learn about the essential work both organizations do, and understand why watershed protection matters. We'll wrap up the day with tasty snacks and ice-cold beverages at the trailhead.
