Join staff and the Friends of Parker River for the annual fall beach cleanup. Help remove trash so the beach stays safe and welcoming to wildlife and humans. Drop in any time at Parking Lot 1 on the refuge to sign in and get instructions. There is no need to register in advance. Trash bags and trash pickers provided, please bring water, gloves, and wear sturdy shoes. Stay as long or as little as you like! Long walks on the beach not for you? Join an separate group maintaining our trails! Hand tools provided, bring leather gloves, safety glasses, closed-toe footwear, long pants and sleeved recommended (extra PPE available upon request).
