National Public Lands Day 2025 will be Saturday, September 27. This is a statewide event that provides unique opportunities for Minnesota Master Naturalist Volunteers to participate in our largest single day of service. Locations across the state will have MNats and others out helping to make Minnesota a better place!

Friends and family are welcome to participate, but must be registered to participate. Everyone will sign a photo release upon site registration. All participants will receive a free NPLD branded item and a day pass to a national park as a thank you for participating. You can add additional participant names in the comment field.

Registration by September 5th is required to receive a t-shirt. Registration will close on September 19th for participation in the event without a t-shirt.

Volunteers will be removing invasive woody plants, including buckthorn and honeysuckle. Please bring boots, gloves, sunscreen, a water bottle, lunch, and any hand tools you might have for cutting, such as pruners, loppers, hand saws, etc. A limited number of hand tools will also be provided.
