Event details

We will be hosting an opportunity that encourages people to get out to the shoreline of Lake Russell. We will be hosting a self-guided cleanup event, meaning we can provide you with the supplies to pickup litter around your favorite part of the lake and/or we can provide to you aquatic plants that you can plant around the lake. Planting sites are up to your discretion, so if you want to choose a boat ramp area or launch your own boat to access a private cove or island, then that would be up to you. Alternatively, you can follow us by boat to an area and join us in planting both Water Willow vegetation and Bald Cypress trees. Cleaning up the lake is aesthetically pleasing, while planting creates habitat necessary for aquatic life.
