Join Indiana DNR for this women’s focused catfish fishing workshop on Tues., Sept. 22 from 5 – 8 p.m. ET at Robinson Lake Park in Hobart, IN. Catfish fishing is a great activity that doesn’t take much to get started can help you put wild game on the table and enjoy the outdoors in new ways. Whether you're new to catfish fishing, or getting geared up to try something new this season, we look forward to seeing you! This adults-oriented (16+) women’s workshop will cover basic catfish biology, fishing tips, gear selection, safety, regulations, and ways to take your harvest from field to fork (or from the pond to plate, that is)! The class will consist of a 30–45-minute lecture followed by hands on activities to help solidify your basic fishing knowledge and practice skills you may use in the field. Participants can expect to do a small amount of walking (up to one mile). Clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting a little bit wet are recommended. Please register to attend this free workshop.
