Event details

Volunteers will spend the day working with BLM employees on the Steamboat Rock trail system project. Work will include decommissioning trails, redefining and improving trails that are part of the OHV trail system, adding barriers to restrict motorized use into the Deschutes Wild and Scenic River corridor, and generally sprucing up the area. Participants will be divided up to work in needed areas around the entire trail system. Volunteers should bring gloves, wear appropriate clothing and footwear for outdoor trail work, bring water and lunch. Some snacks provided.
