Join us on a trail work day clearing brush and fixing tread on one of Big Bears most challenging trails. Sugarloaf Mountain

This year's Trail Work Day will be on one of Big Bears Most celebrated peaks. Sitting at 9,952' The Sugarloaf Mountain Trail is a National Recreation Trail.

This trail is arduous at 10 miles total and 3,300' of elevation grain this years trail work is recomended for experienced outdoor recreationalist. Join us as we work to remove willows encoruching on the trail and repair the tread to better shed water.

Please wear close-toed shoes and long pants. We will provide the tools, gloves, and hard hats (if needed). Lunch as well as drinks and snacks will be provided. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.
