Join us at Theodore Roosevelt Island for National Public Lands Day from 10am to 12pm! We’ll be removing invasive shrubs and vines throughout the island to make room for native flora and fauna.
The meeting point for the event is at the Pedestrian Bridge located on the Virginia side of the island. No skills or prior knowledge are required for these events. Volunteers who sign up will receive an email with further details about the event 48 hours prior to its start. Register for the event by following the attached volunteer.gov link!

Tools and gloves are provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Bring snacks and water!
Wear close-toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves that you don’t mind getting dirty.
There is a parking lot, but it may be hard to find parking. You can also bike or walk; it's about a 15-minute walk Rosslyn Metro.
