Event details

Park Rangers will lead volunteers in assembling 7 new picnic tables to replace the open air tables in the Tully Lake Recreation Area at Tully Lake Dam.  Please bring work gloves, close toed shoes, snacks, and water.  Hand tools will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own wrench and socket sets.  Folks are encouraged to drop in and help in the 9am-1pm window but there is no pressure or requirement to stay for the full time.  Drop in and give 30 minutes or and hour if that is all you have.  If turn out is high, rangers will break the volunteers into teams to assemble new tables, remove the old tables, clean and prep the pads, and install the new tables.  Other tasks may include scraping and staining the bathroom building, kiosks, and sign posts, cleaning up litter, and/or lopping back brush from the road and parking lot edges. For signing up or any questions, please reach out to Ranger Rick Brackett at 978-831-2892 or richard.c.brackett@usace.army.mil
