Potomac River Cleanup
"Water" you doing for National Public Lands Day? Can't be as fun as cleaning up litter with our partners the Potomac Conservancy! Located right along the Potomac River, this cherished hiking destination provides several miles of wooded trails and plenty of natural wonders to behold. However, there's always the risk of waste getting left behind and flowing into the water, damaging its heath for both visitors and wildlife.

Eager to rid the river of trash? Meet the Conservancy by the Woods Trail at 9:00 AM, where leaders will have all the necessary equipment. To guard against possible thorns and poison ivy, please wear long sleeves + pants and sturdy shoes.
