Event details

Spend the day lending a hand in Valles Caldera National Preserve. For 2025, we will be focused on trails work and efforts focused on getting ready for the park's Fall Fiesta event, which starts the following weekend. Please register through the Volunteer.gov opportunity. We will meet at 9 am at the Welcome Station to split into groups and go through a safety briefing. Plan to spend the morning working on the project. We'll have lunch provided by our partner organization, Los Amigos de Valles Caldera. In the afternoon, you can enjoy exploring the park or participating in a ranger-led program.
