National Public Lands Day at Valles Caldera National Preserve
For 2026, we will conduct one-day volunteer opportunities as part of our Fall Fiesta event. Volunteer activities will include constructing bumper logs and picking up litter/debris along New Mexico State Road 4.

To participate, please register through Volunteer.gov using the link provided. Once you have applied, the Volunteer Coordinator will send you the required onboarding paperwork. All onboarding paperwork must be completed before participating at Valles Caldera.
Anyone under 18: A parent or guardian must sign the required paperwork in person at Valles Caldera on the day of the event.
