Event details

On Saturday, September 27, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and the City of Page invite you to celebrate National Public Lands Day by joining a community trash cleanup at Car Canyon on the Vermilion View Trail. We’ll meet from 9 to 11 a.m. at the trailhead off Tunnel Road, behind the Maverik.

Together, we’ll spend the morning picking up litter and helping restore one of Page’s scenic outdoor spaces. The route includes natural surfaces and uneven ground, so wear sturdy shoes. Trash bags and nitrile gloves will be provided. Please bring your own work gloves if you have them, along with plenty of water.

Every bag filled makes a visible difference. By volunteering just a couple of hours, you’ll help keep trails clean, protect wildlife, and show pride in the public lands we all enjoy.
