Join us at Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve for a community event on Saturday, September 19th from 1-4pm to celebrate Waquoit Bay as part of National Estuaries Week and Cape Cod Clean Water Week! This year’s theme is Experience Your Estuary were we will celebrate our sense of place and everything that makes Waquoit Bay unique – recreation, beauty, ecosystem, culture, history. We will be joined with partner organizations including Citizens for the Protection of Waquoit Bay, Falmouth Pond Coalition, Massachusetts Oyster Project, Old Ladies Against Underwater Garbage, and Waquoit Bay Reserve Foundation.
