π Where: Meet at the parking lot behind the Phoenix Grill (36.576427, -105.438442)
βοΈ What to Expect: A day filled with fun and stewardship on one of the Carson National Forest's most popular trails!
Work will mostly consist of improving drainage on the trail by constructing and clearing drainage features.
The trail starts at about 9,000' and steadily climbs for 2 miles until reaching Williams Lake. We'll be hiking about 3-4 miles roundtrip. *It is highly advised to acclimate yourself to the elevation before attending*
π What to Bring: Please wear long pants, sturdy hiking shoes/work boots, work gloves, and eye protection (sunglasses okay).
Bring a day pack with plenty of food and water, sunscreen, layers, and rain gear. *We will be on the trail all day and not returning to the cars for lunch*
ECTA will provide the hard hats and tools.
